Appointment Cancellation Requests, Policy and Fees

There are a number of ways to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.

Patients can cancel their appointment with the Student Health & Wellness Centre online using the form below. Once you've submitted your cancellation request, you will receive an autoreply to show that your cancellation has been submitted and will be processed. This form is to be used for appointments at the Halifax Student Health & Wellness Centre only [you must contact Dal Family Medicine or the Student Health and Wellness Centre in Truro to cancel appointments at those clinics].

You can cancel an upcoming physician or psychiatry appointment directly from the appointment reminder you receive (via text or email). 

For appointments booked through the Medeo online booking portal, you can cancel directly from the appointment dashboard.

You can also contact the Centre by phone to cancel an upcoming appointment (902) 494-2171.

Please remember that appointments with healthcare providers are limited and we want to ensure that we can serve as many students/patients as possible - by cancelling an appointment with 24 hours' notice this helps to ensure that the appointment can be filled by another person in need of support.

Please note: As per our cancellation policy below, the Student Health & Wellness Centre requires 24 hours' notice of cancellation or you will be charged a missed appointment fee.
