The Dal Bike Centre is based out of the Studley Gym at 1 Alumni Cresent. It offers cycling maintenance and safety education programs, as well as a free bike loan program to students, staff, and faculty. Cyclists can also use the space and tools provided at the Bike Centre to repair their bikes.

Bike loans

Dalhousie offers bike and helmet loans for up to three days a time out of the Campus Bike Centre at the Studley Gym for Halifax Campuses and the Athletics Centre on the Agricultural Campus.

To loan a bike:

1. Show your Dal card

2. Complete the waiver

3. Review the bike loan program info sheet

4. Enjoy the ride and cycle safely

Bike parking

There are over 1,040 bike parking spots and over 470 bike racks located throughout the Studley, Carleton, Sexton, and Agricultural campuses.

For an extra level of security, students, staff, and faculty can request access to Secure Parking Areas (SPAs) at select locations on our Halifax campuses.
