Minimum admission requirements
To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Admission to many Dalhousie programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Program options
The Marketing major is part of our Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program. As part of the mandatory co-op portion of this degree, you’ll complete three paid work terms.
Marketing majors often choose to complete their work terms at marketing or PR agencies or work in-house in the marketing departments of local or national companies or non-profits. Some students choose to complete all their work terms at the same company, while others prefer to change it up each time. The potential work term opportunities are endless!
