What you will learn
In the first two years of their degree, all engineering students complete the core engineering program. You can take this program either on the Sexton Campus in Halifax, or the Agricultural Campus in Truro. You will study math, science, engineering science, and design, developing a broad foundation in engineering.
At the end of your first year, you can apply to enter Industrial Engineering. In the Dalhousie’s Industrial Engineering Program, you’ll learn how to review workflows, analyze data, and learn mathematical models to create effective processes.
Sample courses may include:
Engineering Design and Graphics
