Are you a new, direct-from-high-school, domestic, or international student with a complete application on file by May 1st? You’re guaranteed residence!

Dal also gives priority to Indigenous students, especially Mi’kmaq, African/Black students, especially Historical African, and Nova Scotian Students with (dis)abilities or ongoing medical conditions that significantly impact housing needs.

Indigenous Student Access Pathway Program

Our Truro campus is also home to the Indigenous Student Access Pathway Program (ISAP), offering First Nations, Métis and Inuit students an opportunity to complete university courses in our culturally supportive and friendly campus community. The program is open to direct-from-high-school students, mature students and those with previous post-secondary experience who have some but not all of the prerequisites for standard admission.
