Future Mobility

Future transportation technologies include: autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, car sharing opportunities and mobility as a service. Many cities are participating in the race to test and pilot automated vehicles. Many more are encouraging the use of electric vehicles and are providing EV charging stations in their downtown areas. The ultimate goal for the shared autonomous vehicles is to make cities more sustainable, reduce GHG around the world, reduce congestion, allow for more public spaces, and to accommodate the ever increasing world population.
