Faculty of Dentistry

Digital solutions and technology help reduce patient treatment time, dental production time, and material costs while improving health records and surgical accuracy. Your gift to the Digital Dentistry fund will help us acquire new software and hardware, so that each of our units can be equipped with digital radiographs, intraoral scanners, and onsite 3D printing and manufacturing. With these resources, our students can graduate with proficiency in all aspects of digital workflows.

Our outreach programs work to improve access to oral health care for more than 20,000 patients across Atlantic Canada, including elementary school children and equity-deserving populations. Our community outreach clinics provide oral health-care students with the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience while providing care to patients from many different backgrounds.
