Why Dal?

The department of microbiology and immunology at Dal offers exciting research with the opportunity to train at the Canadian Center for Vaccinology

What inspires me

My research focuses on investigating disulfide bond formation in the Gram-positive bacteria Streptococcus gordonii, a potential live vaccine vector. We hope that this work will advance our understanding of the fundamental mechanisms that govern the production of disulfide-bonded protein and will help toward the development of novel S. gordonii based vaccines.
