Bachelor of Computer Science student, Leah Brown, has been chosen as one of thirty Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholars for 2013. The scholars (all coming from the US and Canada) will join the annual Google Scholar's Retreat this summer in New York City, where they can attend tech talks on Google products, network with the other scholars and participate in developmental activities.
This is a huge honour to have a student from FCS appear on such a small list of talented students, and to see Dalhousie University appear on a list against some great schools in North America. We send a big congratulations out to Leah for all that she has done to achieve this honour!
