Accessing SLEQ
SLEQ Emails and links to tasks
The SLEQ system will send you an email any time you have an available task or report.
Question personalization tasks and emails will be sent and available 2 weeks before the SLEQ opens for students.
Response rate monitoring tasks and emails are sent and available on the same day the forms become available to students.
Report emails are sent 4 weeks after the last day of the term.
Note: You will need a valid dalhousie NetID to access any of your tasks and reports.
Brightspace Instructions
Once you login into your Brightspace, Click the SLEQ tab.
You will then see:
- Announcements
- SLEQ Tasks: This is where you can find links to QP tasks and where you can monitor the response rates of any active SLEQ forms.
- SLEQ reports: This block will give you access to current and older reports
- Resources for Instructors
NOTE: Most TAs will see the student SLEQ page and will not have access to reports. To access reports, you will need to use the link sent via email. You will however be able to monitor response rates and access your QP tasks in Brightspace.

To access SLEQ reports and tasks you will need to click on SLEQ in the Brightspace menu at the top of the screen.
Instructors will see 3 blocks in the SLEQ portal.
- Task Block (for entering personalized questions)
- Response Progress (will show ongoing response rates for active evaluations)
- Report Block (This is where you can get access to your SRI reports)
Reports Availibility and Access
- Your most recent SLEQ reports are typically available 4 weeks after the last day of the term for all your courses for the given term. The methods to calculate important dates are listed under the SLEQ Timeline.
- The reports can be accessed via embedded links in the emails sent out to your dal.ca email account, alerting you of the availability of the reports.
- Additionally, you will also be access your reports directly in Brightspace through the SLEQ portal.
