Resources & facilities
On-site facilities
Students who undertake their studies on campus have access to workstations and computer space in one of our two research areas and other on-site facilities.
Online orientation
Before or shortly after you begin your program of study, our online orientation will introduce you to the program, the research interests of faculty members, and skills you will need to survive and thrive in the program.
Online writing support
- Dalhousie Writing Centre offers online support, which is an option for students to build a community of support and accountability for writing.
- The Centre also has a drop-in link 1:00-2:00PM each day.
- Students interested in booking one-to-one appointments can use this link.
Video conferencing
Video conferencing is available for linking with faculty members from many locations in Canada or even from your home. We have a state-of-the-art system that can be used for student thesis defences.
Several of our faculty have access to large datasets that can be used for thesis work. Please check the Faculty Profiles.
