Why Dal?
I pursued a graduate degree at Dalhousie University based on the relationships I had built with faculty during my undergraduate degree at the School of Nursing. As a graduate student, I had access to a community of nursing scholarship which nourished my growth as a student, researcher, and life-long learner. Embraced by this community of nurse scholars, and with great support from my supervisors and mentors, I completed the program in two academic years. My experiences as a graduate student at the Dalhousie School of Nursing created a solid foundation for my pursuit of doctoral studies and a career in nursing research and scholarship.
Research interests
My research interests include; midwifery, global maternal-newborn and women's health, collaborative birthing care, health equity, and feminism.
