Why Dal?

I’m down with studying music in the city that blessed the world with Thrush Hermit and Dog Day!

What Inspires You?

I’m a music journalist, a songwriter, a record collector and a musician, but first and foremost, I’m a music fan. I’m fascinated with the socio-cultural impacts, influences and crossovers of musical subgenres. My research interests include rock music, francophone music and the music of francophone communities outside Quebec. I’m always happy to talk about my record collection or to discuss the work of Alain Bashung, The Clash, Voivod and Groovy Aardvark!
