National and International Impact
At Impact Ethics, we focus on innovative, responsible, and accountable bioethics. We believe that bioethics requires both integrity and sensitivity to the real world of healthcare delivery, policy-making and politics.
In order to make a positive impact at the local, national and international levels, the researchers at Impact Ethics regularly contribute to academic scholarship, public policy, and public education about bioethics in Canada.

As leaders in bioethics, we take action by sharing our research, advocating for policy change and encouraging public discussion. With these obligations in mind, our work is both interdisciplinary and interprofessional. We also aim to engage the viewpoints of those whose interests and voices are often marginalized. Ultimately, doing innovative, responsible and accountable bioethics requires moral imagination, a focus on earning public trust and a commitment to transparency in healthcare research, policies and delivery.
