Research

Shannon grew up in Trois-Rivières, Québec before coming to Dalhousie University where he is currently working on his MSc in Biology. In the LaRoche Lab, Shannon is continuing his research on uncovering the compositionality of whole marine ecosystems through environmental molecular signatures. Shannon has a strong interest in the conservation of marine biodiversity and the development of efficient methods for biomonitoring.
