This year September 30th, 2015 will mark the Dalhousie Native Student Association 6th Annual Mawio’mi. This daylong event will showcase the raising of the Mi’kmaq flag, traditional drummers, dancers and crafters, while honoring community Elders on recognized unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Attendees will be treated to a traditional feast and refreshments prior to the ‘pow wow’ (celebration). Read the Dal News article to learn more.

12:00pm-12:45pm: Traditional meal (Great Hall, University Club/Studley Quad)
1:00pm-3:00pm: Grand entry and powwow celebration (Studley Quad)
