Fountain School's new opera offers sensory friendly experience

Rooted in the French comic tradition, the Fountain School’s opera production of “L’Étoile” is fantastical, absurd and sometimes surreal. And with a special sensory-friendly matinee performance in partnership with Autism Nova Scotia, it’s also offering a more inclusive opera experience.

Wait time well spent

A new pilot project from Dal Med School researchers, in partnership with the IWK’s Community Mental Health and Addictions Program, uses technology to turn time spent in a waiting room into a valuable source of data for both clinicians and patients.
