Anonymous survey about harassment, discrimination, racism & sexualized violence

Posted by Human Rights & Equity Services on January 6, 2025 in General Announcements

There’s still time to complete a 10-minute anonymous survey about harassment, discrimination, racism & sexualized violence at the University. The deadline to share your feedback is midnight, January 10, 2025.

Click here to begin the survey.

This survey is intended to gather information about the climate of the University and, more specifically, your faculty or unit, regarding matters such as confidence in University responses to concerns about harassment and discrimination, power dynamics and inclusion.

The objective of the survey is to ensure the updated equity policies: (a) are responsive to the actual needs of Dal community members; (b) provide practical guidance regarding formal and informal responses when equity concerns are raised; and (c) encourage education, self-reflection, inclusion, and accountability when conduct departs from the policies.

This survey is anonymous and voluntary. You may choose to answer all or any of the survey questions before submitting.

This initiative is supported by Human Rights & Equity Services at Dalhousie University as part of its review and updating of its Harassment, Discrimination and Sexualized Violence Polices, and the development of a Racialized Violence Policy.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact HRES Policy Consultant, Krista Smith (kksmith@dal.ca).
