Facilities Management will be carrying out essential repairs to the Aquatron bridge in the Life Sciences Centre (LSC) on Thursday, 28 November. A contractor will be on-site to lift new equipment into the Aquatron, requiring the use of a crane near the loading bay.
This means that Edzell Castle Street between National Research Council (NRC) and Steele Ocean Sciences building and all sidewalks and walkways leading to it will be blocked off on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Aquatron area will also be closed.
Please avoid parking near the Steele Ocean Sciences Building loading bay or along Edzell Castle Street before this time. Any vehicles left in the area will be towed to facilitate crane operations.
If weather prevents this work on the scheduled date, alternate arrangements will be communicated in advance.
For questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Project Manager Avinash Emandi at av417295@dal.ca
