The January 2024 EPass (also known as XPass) program enrolment period is now open until Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:59 PM. This enrolment period applies to new participants and employees whose pass or renewal sticker expires on December 31, 2023. If your pass or renewal sticker expires on June 30, 2024, you are only required to re-enrol in May 2024.

To be eligible for the EPass program, you must be:

• a permanent part-time employee at Dalhousie University
• a permanent full-time employee at Dalhousie University
• a post-doctoral fellow at Dalhousie University

EPass participants can travel on all Halifax Transit services for the flat rate of $61.88/month. This includes regular bus, ferry, Express, MetroX and Access-A-Bus services. EPass fees are paid through payroll deduction.

How to enrol in the January 2024 program:

1. Complete the “Employee Transit Pass Program (EPass) 2024 Enrolment Form” attached to this email
2. Please save and rename the pdf as ‘Last name_first name_ Dalhousie_January2024’ (ex: Smith_John_Dalhousie_January2024). New participants must include a photo (jpg format only) and save as ‘Last name_first name_Dalhousie_January2024’ (ex: Smith_John_Dalhousie_January2024.jpg).
3. Return the completed enrolment form and photo to ebuspass@dal.ca
