For their November Patch Tuesday update, Microsoft has announced that there are five fixed zero-day issues (vulnerabilities for which there is a known published exploit). Three of those issues have been actively exploited by malicious actors - in a Windows cloud files mini filter driver, a DWM Core Library, and in a SmartScreen security feature that could allow SmartScreen to be bypassed. The other two have had code for an exploit publicly released, but no known threat actors exploiting them yet.
Please ensure that you prioritize updating Windows systems quickly this month to prevent exploitation of these five vulnerabilities and other critical patches and updates.
