Lab2Market is a national initiative centered on science and technological innovation that empowers teams comprising students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty members to explore the commercial viability of their research-driven ideas. Through in-depth interviews with potential customers, these teams validate the market need, bridging the gap between academia and entrepreneurship.

Since its inception in 2020, the Lab2Market Validate program has engaged 330 teams nationwide, securing an impressive $10.7 million in funding. Over a hundred students have benefited from Dalhousie's iteration of the program, underscoring the university's commitment to cultivating entrepreneurial talent.
