The month of October is once again “Walktober” at Dalhousie, with the goal of increasing physical activity among employees. While we may be working in a wide range of places and spaces, Walktober’s goal of getting people moving more remains, ideally outside.
There are two ways to get involved:
- Track your walks
- Send in a photo of what you see as you walk
Each week, email healthy@dal.ca with an update of how many walks you too, how many steps you took or how far you walked. There are many, many apps available to track your steps and walks, but really any measurement works. Or send a picture of something along your route to healthy@dal.ca or post it on "X" with #DalWorkWell.
Names will be drawn for weekly prizes from those who report on their activity.
Let's get moving!
