Help keep yourself and our community safe this year. Dalhousie will be holding on-campus flu shot (influenza immunization) clinics in Halifax and Truro this fall, beginning this month (flu vaccine availability pending).
On-campus flu shots are available for students, faculty and staff, as well as members of your family and the community.
Those wishing to get their flu shot at an on-campus clinic can now pre-book an appointment. If you are experiencing any COVID-19, cold or flu symptoms at the time of your flu shot clinic appointment, please reschedule your appointment.
In Halifax
Flu shot clinics in Halifax will run from October 24 – November 4. The full schedule of clinics in Halifax can be found at dal.ca/flu. You can book your flu shot clinic appointment online. If you are booking flu shot appointments for a family, please call 902-494-2171. Flu shots will be administered by students from the School of Nursing, registered nurses and physicians from the Student Health & Wellness Centre. Please bring your valid MSI, provincial or private health insurance card and wear clothing that allows for ease of access to your upper arm.
In Truro
Flu shot clinics in Truro will run from October 25 – November 17. The full schedule of clinics in Truro can be found at dal.ca/flu. You can book your flu shot clinics appointment by calling 902-893-6672 or emailing ssdalac@dal.ca. Flu shots will be administered by registered nurses in the Dairy Building/Health Services. Wear clothing that allows for ease of access to your upper arm. Need to remain 15 minutes in the department after the injection.
