Supported by the Canadian Women’s Foundation Girls’ Fund, SuperNOVA’s Girls Count program combines weekly educational programming with continued mentorship to target gender disparity within mathematics through an exploration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields for girls in Grades 6-8.
Registrations for the 2022/2023 year are now open! Weekly meetings will take place every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM- 7:30 PM on the Sexton campus—sessions will be held in person. The Girls Count program will empower girls and women to be passionate, informed, and confident in their mathematics abilities by connecting participants with positive female mentors from Mathematics-related fields through weekly engagements.

If you (or anyone you know) has any questions about the program, or its mathematic-based content, you can reach out to Pierina Leon at pleon@superstaff.ca
