WORK ASSIGNMENT: TAs assist instructor in the presentation and delivery of courses. Duties may include preparation of teaching material, marking, invigilation, and communication with students and instructor. For distance courses this may include additional online activities (e.g., monitoring online discussion boards).Successful candidate will report directly to the instructor.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Applicants must be senior undergraduate, or graduate students at Dalhousie University. They must have knowledge of the subject matter being taught and be comfortable in facilitating the learning of undergraduate students online.

Marker/Demonstrator Posting Fall 2022 |

POSITION(S): 90.-hour Marker/Demonstrator for ERTH 3500 (Geoscience Information Management) Fall 2022.
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Marker assist the primary instructor in marking digital submissions. Marker reports directly to the instructor.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Applicants should be a senior undergraduate, or graduate students at Dalhousie University. They must have knowledge of the subject matter being taught and be comfortable in facilitating the learning of undergraduate students. Previous experience in TA’ing classes or other university level teaching would be a definite asset. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
