Instructor of Chemistry: The primary responsibilities of this position are lab and lecture support for the 1st year Concepts in Chemistry program at Dalhousie University. This position reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Science through the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.
The position requires a minimum of an PhD degree in Chemistry, with at least five years of laboratory and some lecture teaching experience in 1st year Chemistry at the university level.
The successful candidate will be qualified to participate in all aspects of our Concepts in Chemistry program, including to fulfill all duties required in both the lab and lecture components of the program. A strong familiarity with the Concepts in Chemistry program at Dalhousie is an asset, as is a strong background in inorganic chemistry.
