Participate in a study to assess whether journaling improves resilience.

Posted by Human Resources on February 11, 2022 in General Announcements

Your help is needed by taking part in a brief research study which is focused on assessing the effect of journaling on improving resilience.

In this study, you will use the app “JackHabbit” for 2 weeks. The first phase entails completing a questionnaire about who you are which takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is a one-time process. Afterwards, instructions about how to access JackHabbit and begin the phase 2 will be made available to you.

The second phase of the process involves you using the journal for two weeks. Before and after using the app, you will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire taking minutes that will assess your resilience.

This is a Dalhousie study with professors and students involved. Those Dal faculty and staff that sign up using their dal.ca email address by Sunday, February 13th will be entered in a $500 draw upon completion! 1 in 500 chance of winning.
