Job posting: Research Assistant (The Transformation of Work: Connecting Public Servants to Enhance Public Value)

We require a Research Assistant (RA) for a Research Project, “The Transformation of Work: Connecting Public Servants to Enhance Public Value.”

This project will investigate and synthesize evidence about virtual teams, collaboration, e-leadership and the transformation of work. The project will consist of a systematic search of literature about virtual teams, collaboration and the transformation of work across diverse organizational settings and an interpretive synthesis of the results of that search.

The RA must have skills/experience in conducting systematic literature searches using library databases. They must be self-starters, have the ability to work independently and in a team setting, and have excellent skills in academic research, time management, and communication. They must have Master’s-level training in Research Methods; this position would be ideal for a second-year Master’s student, a Master’s graduate, or a PhD student.

The Research Assistant will report to the Project Team Leaders, Dr. Martine Durier-Copp, Dr. Binod Sundararajan and Dr. Joyline Makani.

This is a part-time position (5-10 hours/week) between January 24 and February 25, 2022. The rate of pay is $22.50/hour, inclusive of vacation pay.
