Dal Bookstore now offering co‑branded lululemon clothing

Posted by Dalhousie Bookstore on September 1, 2021 in Community Highlights

The Dal Bookstore is proud to announce that it is now offering a wide variety of co-branded lululemon activewear at its main store on the Halifax campus and through its online store, bookstore.dal.ca.

Under the Bookstore’s new reseller agreement with the Vancouver-based clothing retailer, Dalhousie will become one of the first post-secondary institutions in Canada to offer exclusive co-branded lululemon clothing to students, staff, alumni and the surrounding community.

The Bookstore’s selection of lululemon clothing offers a wide variety of styles in a range of sizes for both men and women.

lululemon line now available

The Bookstore’s new selection of lululemon products was curated with both comfort and activity in mind. Some of the products now being carried include lululemon’s Swiftly Racerback Tank Top, the Full Zip City Hoodie, the ever-popular lululemon Align High-Rise leggings, along with several other of its most popular pieces with more items planned over the coming weeks.

Dal makes the difference

While lululemon has operated a retail store in Halifax for a number of years, what sets the Dal Bookstore’s selection apart is the inclusion of the university’s distinctive branding elements.

For instance, some items carry the stylized Dal crest (also known as the short-form logo), while other items, such as the Full Zip Hoodie, proudly displays the full Dalhousie name in bright gold down the left arm.

Customers will immediately see that these identifying marks stand out strongly against the black material found in the store’s current selection of lululemon products.

Extended back-to-class hours

With the expected influx of thousands of students coming to campus, the Dal Bookstore will be operating three locations beginning Sept. 1: the main store on the bottom level of the Student Union Building; the co-shared location with the Enrolment Services Centre in Building B on the Sexton Campus, and the re-opening of its location in the Cox Institute on the Agricultural campus. For the full list of hours at each location during the back-to-class rush, please visit our website.
