Please note that annual maintenance on high voltage equipment across the Halifax campus will be carried out on July 19, 2021. This maintenance will require short electrical outages in the following areas:

7:00 to 8:00 AM - Killam Library, Howe Hall, Chemistry, Chemistry Storage Facility and Macdonald Building

- Howe Hall and Killam Data Centre - Full back-up power

- Chemistry - No back-up power

- Chemistry Storage Facility - Back-up power for essential services only (emergency lighting, fire pump, etc)

8:00 to 10:00 AM - Chemistry and Chemistry Storage Facility

- Chemistry - No back-up power

- Chemistry Storage Facility - Back-up power for essential services only (emergency lighting, fire pump, etc)

10:00 to 11:00 AM - Shirreff Hall

- Full back-up power - no interruption

11:00 AM to Noon - Goldberg Computer Science Building

- Back-up power for essential services only (emergency lighting, fire pump, etc)

1:00 to 2:00 PM - LSRI

- Full back-up power - no interruption

2:00 to 3:00 PM - H Building (Sexton)

- Will not require an outage

This work will commence at 7:00 AM and timing throughout the day could vary depending on how the work progresses.
