The dal.ca Web Services Team has launched a new myDal site (login required). The site is a one-stop resource offering training, resources, tools and guidance for web authors and contributors. It is also home to updates on the dal.ca Web Renewal Project, and will include project-specific tools and resources for teams preparing their sites to transition to the new Touch UI platform.
In conjunction with the launch of our new myDal site, we’ve created a Microsoft Teams site to allow web users, contributors and AEM authors to connect and collaborate with the dal.ca Web Services Team and each other. AEM authors, site leaders and offline contributors will be added to the site as members in the coming days, but we invite anyone who has an interest in the web at Dal to join by emailing us at webproj@dal.ca. In your email, please include your department and job title, and also let us know why you’re interested in accessing the Teams site.
The new dal.ca Web Services myDal site represents the collaboration between members of the Communications, Marketing and Creative Services (CMC) Digital Platform Marketing Team and the Information Technology Services’ Web Team who manage dal.ca on a day-to-day basis and jointly support leaders and authors of sites built on the AEM platform. We look forward to our continued work with the university community to build a website that is user-focused, accessible, and responsive to tell Dal’s unique story.
We’re celebrating the launch of our new site with a contest! Somewhere on the site, you’ll find the answer to the following question:
How many unique pageviews did dal.ca receive in 2020?
Email the correct answer to webproj@dal.ca by July 9, and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a Dal swag prize pack! The winner will be contacted on July 12.
