The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking applicants for the following part-time academic postings:

CMSD 5050: Fundamentals of Speech Science

The Sessional Lecturer will teach 50 per cent of the one-half credit course, CMSD 5050: Fundamentals of Speech Science in the Master of Science programs in speech-language pathology and audiology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the fall term September to December 2021.

Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course and reports to the Director of the School.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position: A graduate degree, expertise in the area of speech and hearing acoustics, and relevant teaching experience.

CMSD 5140 Aural (Re)Habilitation with Children

The Sessional Lecturer will teach 58% of a one-half credit course, CMSD 5140: Aural (Re)Habilitation with Children, in the Master of Science program in speech-language pathology and audiology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the fall term September to December 2021. Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course and reports to the Director of the School.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position: A graduate degree, and expertise in the area of aural (re)habilitation in children (speech-language pathology). Relevant teaching experience isan asset.
