Summer writing support and a new international writing advisor at the Writing Centre

Posted by Dalhousie Writing Centre on June 10, 2021 in General Announcements

The Writing Centre is excited to introduce our newest staff member, Fatou Secka, who has joined us in the new Dalhousie role of International Student Writing Advisor. Fatou looks forward to working with students from all over the University to help meet their writing challenges, and she is eager to connect with staff and faculty across Dalhousie to support international student writing needs. Fatou can be reached at Fatou.Secka@dal.ca

We also wish to let you know that the Writing Centre continues to be open all summer for video appointments and online reviews of undergrad and graduate student papers, as well as all other regular services, including academic integrity support, workshops, presentations, supplemental classes, outreach and other faculty support. We also provide thesis and defence support for graduate students, along with other services including our next Grad
Student Writing Week, June 14-18.

If you have questions or need more information about any Writing Centre service or support, please contact Janice.eddington@dal.ca

A short video clip presenting our main services can be found at https://youtu.be/fFMI2E6jgKM and full details can be found at dal.ca/writingcentre

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your students at the Writing Centre or connecting with you about student writing support!
