Get to know Sampson, a Tuxedo cat who resides with Alyssa Frost, an HR advisor in the Faculty of Medicine.
(Find information on how to submit your own pet's profile at the bottom of this profile.)
Name: Sampson (no significance, this is what the shelter named him and it stuck)
Nickname: Sammie
Species/breed: Tuxedo
Age: 2 (turning 3 on March 2nd)
Fave food: Anything fish flavored, particularly Whitefish & Tuna.
Special tricks: Sits on command and can carry on a conversation with you – he’s very chatty.
Best quality: Ability to flash those little white mittens while simultaneously displaying the ‘Puss in Boots’ eyes to get whatever he wants. He also has the loudest purr!
Social media platform or handle, if available: While Sampson does not have his own social media platform, he is a bit of a ‘local celebrity’ in our office as he frequently appears in our weekly update emails.
Fun fact: Sampson was one of the last adoptions the SPCA did before shutting down due to the pandemic — it must have been meant to be. Because he has only known me while I’ve been working from home, he is quite attached and must have a cozy spot to sleep right beside me while I work, otherwise he’s a going concern!
