The Faculty of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Clinical Sciences.
The successful applicant must possess a Masters degree in education and a demonstrated record of, or potential for, excellence and leadership in dental education. Candidates are preferred to have previous experience teaching restorative dentistry and clinical oral care related to general practice. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and visionary.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated potential for building a research portfolio and will be expected to compete effectively for research funding and maintain an active research program.
Candidates must have successfully completed their National Dental Examining Board of Canada examinations and be eligible for licensure by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. One day per week is available for private clinical practice, however, the Faculty does not offer academic licensure. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and achievements.

Applications will be accepted until June 10, 2020. Start date for the position is July 1, 2020.
