Instructor Postings ‑ Engineering Mathematics and Internetworking ‑ Internetworking Program

Applications are sought for 2 positions of Instructor for the Internetworking Program.  This Program is responsible for the Master of Engineering in Internetworking (MEI) of the Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University.
 
Qualifications must include a Ph.D. with a dissertation in the Internetworking field.  Candidates must have demonstrable teaching experience in courses offered by the Program, both in class and by eLearning, and have substantial software experience.  In addition, experience in Digital Communications, Network Security and SDN’s and automation is desirable. Candidates should also have at least five years of practical hands-on experience with network equipment.  Relevant industrial certifications and five years of experience in the ITC industry is preferred.  The incumbents will be required to teach theory, to guide and advise students, to lead student projects, to design laboratory experiments, to teach in the Program laboratories, to undertake administrative duties including industrial recruitment, and deliver eLearning locally and internationally.  These positions require self-starters who are prepared to work as necessary, including limited evening, weekends, and early mornings to ensure that the students have an excellent educational experience.
