Looking for how to keep the learning going from home?
Ocean School has gathered all of our favourite videos and activities into week-long lesson plans and made them easily accessible for parents, educators, and students! All you need is a computer or a tablet!
Every week we will be launching new material for grades 6 to 9, so make sure to check the Learn From Home page for videos, virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive activities!
Ocean School, a collaboration between Dalhousie University, the Ocean Frontier Institute, and the National Film Board of Canada, is a free online educational resource available in English and French. Our mission is to provide learners with the knowledge and tools to understand our influence on the ocean and the ocean’s influence on us. We do this by featuring science, mathematics, social studies, and language arts topics all through an ocean lens.
Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates or contact us at oceanschool@nfb.ca if you have any questions!
