Posted by University of King's College on March 12, 2020 in Community Highlights

The University of King’s College is holding a community information session on King’s and Slavery: A Scholarly Inquiry on Wednesday, March 18 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall at the University of King’s College, 6350 Coburg Road.

Presenters are Dr. Karolyn Frost, Mr. David States, and Dr. Shirley Tillotson. The Inquiry was launched in February of 2018 in response to questions about the university’s connections to slavery before slavery was abolished in the British Empire (and therefore in Nova Scotia) in 1834.
