Position:                                  TA90 Teaching Assistantship

Term/Dates:                            Fall Term: October 11, 2019 to December 20, 2019

Pay Rate:                                  In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

Work Assignment:

The Teaching Assistantship will be responsible for providing support for POLI 3493.03: Political Inquiry II.  Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. In-class duties (lectures, tutorials, seminars, etc.).
  2. Marking and grading tests, assignments, and exams.
  3. Being available to assist with invigilating tests, midterm, and final exam.
  4. Meeting with students for assistance.

Requirements:

Successful applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student at Dalhousie University or be a recent graduate of a Political Science graduate program or relevant graduate field.  Applicants MUST have experience in Political Science, or a field related to Political Science. The TA must be reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic about the topic, highly proficient at writing and evaluating essays, and comfortable in facilitating the learning of undergraduate students.
