Today, Dal employees have access to a new Intelligent learning platform called Percipio. It replaces Skillsoft that the university has been using since 2013. Percipio was launched as a result of a change in users’ expectations demanding simplicity, ease of content discovery, and an aesthetic more like Netflix, Facebook or Spotify. Dalhousie now can offer employees thousands of online learning offerings where they can create their own customized learning channels.

What are the benefits of Percipio?

·         Access anywhere - Expanded device support allows employees to access learning content on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

·         Easier access - Learners can now tag topics and content to access their eLearning topics with the touch of a button.

·         On-Device alerts - Employees are instantly notified about fresh and featured topics.

The transition to Percipio is simple. Visit https://dal.percipio.com/ and get started by using a single sign-on, with your Dal NetID and password.

If you are an existing Skillsoft user, you must complete your training and download your training history before Monday, September 30 when the system will be deactivated.
