POSITION: Part-Time Academic - MUSC 2354.03: History of Western Music to 1750

TERM: September 1 - December 31, 2019 (Fall Term)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Fountain School of Performing Arts

PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT: This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of one section of MUSC 2354.03: History of Western Music to 1750, from September 1 to December 31, 2019 (Fall Term).The candidate will work closely with teaching staff in the musicology area in order to coordinate curriculum requirements. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment and to announce end of term student ratings/evaluations of instruction. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Minimum of a MA, PhD or ABD status in Musicology; teaching experience at the
university level and evidence of teaching effectiveness (formal course evaluations).
