Work Assignment:  INTD 2106.03/GEOG 2206.03.  This course wil focus on contemporary Africa.  Stereotypical portrayals of Africa will be examined and critiqued with the goal of emphasizing the immensity, diversity and complexity of the continent in order to better understand the opportunities and challenges of African development in the 21st century. The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class and in addition is to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation.  The classes are offered during the winter semester.  The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the department.

Work Assignment: INTD 3003.03 - Development Activism.  The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teching, grading, and administration of the class, including the required tutorials.  In addition, the part-time academic is to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation.  This class will be offered in the winter semester.  The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the IDS department.
