Planning is well underway for this year’s Open House in Halifax, one of the university’s most important recruitment events, which will take place on Saturday, October 20 from 9am – 3pm. Detailed information about the program can be found at dal.ca/openhouse.

As always, the success of this event relies on support from volunteers from across the institution. We are looking for volunteers to assist with key event components like check-in, information booths, fairs and more.

As a thank you for joining us, staff and faculty volunteers will receive an Open House t-shirt; snacks throughout the day; a special thank you treat; and two complimentary lunch vouchers (valid at O’Brien, Howe and/or Shirreff Hall’s dining hall). Additionally, deans or department/unit heads are always asked to consider offering time in lieu for this Saturday commitment.

Ready to join us as we welcome over 1,000 students while they get a taste of Dalhousie life through academic sessions, lunch in meal hall, campus and residence tours and more?  Simply fill in the Volunteer Registration form.
