PART-TIME ACADEMIC POSTINGS

POSITIONS: Part-time Academic(s) required to teach the following courses during the 2017-2018 academic year

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Physics & Atmospheric Science, Sir James Dunn Building

PAY RATE: As per CUPE, Local 3912 Collective Agreement

 

WORK ASSIGNMENTS:

Winter Term 2017-2018 (January 1, 2018 to April 30, 2018)

1. PHYC 2150 Physics Tools: Experiment

2. PHYC 3250 Computational Methods in Physics

Duties include full responsibility for teaching. Reasonable office hours should be available to students. All positions report to the Chair of the Department of Physics & Atmospheric Science.

 

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITIONS:

Candidates must have an advanced degree in Physics (MSc or PhD), and must have critical thinking skills and relevant teaching experience at the university level. Excellent computing, organizational, and written communication skills are required..
