Work Assignment:  This Part Time Academic will teach ENGN 1001 Engineering Design 1 in the Fall 2017 on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.  The fall offering is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and two additional Saturdays from September 13th – December 13th, 2017.

The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation.  The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements: Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Engineering Design with Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required.  Excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate:  In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
