For the month of May a Skillsoft Online video will be featured each week that is linked to the Development competency. This Leadership Competency is about working genuinely to build capacity and foster individual, team and organizational development.  We are all in a leadership role when we think of our own lives. Being able to lead yourself effectively and take responsibility for your own development is a competency we all could pay more attention to.

Pursuing continuous improvement and growth is one of the behaviours within the “Development” competency.  If you have recently completed the Quality of Work Life Survey you may feel the time is right to check out this week’s video on Self-Improvement. This 24 minute video includes practical ideas on commitment, planning, maintaining a teachable attitude and managing obstacles.
