Respect and Inclusion is one of Dalhousie's Core Competencies. It is described as “promoting respect and inclusion by working successfully with a wide variety of people and encouraging participation and involvement”.
A couple of the specific behaviours for Creating and Maintaining a Respectful and Inclusive Workplace are:
- Seeks input from and values team members’ contributions
- Appropriately involves and collaborates with others
