DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of French (CIC)
PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Part-time academic required to teach ASSC 3150.03, Intercultural Communication 1, in term D of the 2016/17 summer session (May 8-30, 2017, Monday to Thursday, 1305-1555). The part-time Academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department of French.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in an appropriate field, plus previous university teaching experience. Lived cultural experience and evidence of intercultural sensitivity, familiarity with current research in intercultural communication preferred.
