Position: Part-time Academic – Winter 2017
Department of Engineering

Pay Rate:
Work Assignment: This Part-Time Academic will teach CSCA 2000, Computer Science for the period of the Winter 2017 semester (Jan – Apr. 2017). The class is currently scheduled for lectures, Mondays and Wednesdays 8:35am-9:55am and labs, Mondays, 3:35pm-5:25pm and Fridays, 3:35pm-5:25pm. The sessional lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, applicable labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements: MSc in related field (PhD preferred) At least one year experience of teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Excellent oral, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Experience with C style programming and Arduinos considered an asset.
